PFCCO Visayas conducted a full-day cooperative visit and strategic planning session with the officers, management, and staff of NORECO I Employees Multipurpose (NECCI) Cooperative, focused on the continuation and finalization of its 2026–2030 Strategic Plan.
This activity serves as the second phase of the Integrated Strategic Planning Workshop conducted last October 2025, where NECCI initially crafted its long-term strategic direction. The recent session was dedicated to refining, validating, and aligning those strategies, ensuring that the plan is now more realistic, measurable, and responsive to the current and future needs of the cooperative and its members.
The entire day was also part of NECCI’s preparation for the upcoming 44th Annual General Assembly (AGA) on February 20, 2026, where the finalized Strategic Plan will be presented to the general membership as a key roadmap for the next five years.
A major highlight of the session was the strengthening of NECCI’s Balanced Scorecard (BSC) framework. Through this approach, the cooperative was able to translate its vision into actionable goals across four critical perspectives:
• Financial Sustainability – ensuring sound financial management, capital growth, and long-term stability
• Member and Customer Perspective – improving service delivery, responsiveness, and member satisfaction
• Internal Processes – strengthening governance systems, operational efficiency, and policy implementation
• Learning and Growth – investing in people, leadership development, innovation, and digital readiness
The Balanced Scorecard now serves as NECCI’s strategic compass connecting vision to performance, and strategy to daily action.
PFCCO Visayas extends its sincere appreciation to the Management and Staff of NECCI Cooperative, headed by Ma’am Jeanifer Guardario, for their dedication and teamwork. The group remained engaged and committed throughout the session, even staying late in the afternoon to complete the first major phase of the plan’s finalization.
This activity is only one part of NECCI’s broader planning journey. In the coming weeks, NECCI will proceed with its Annual Operational and Budget Planning (AOPB), ensuring that all programs, projects, and financial allocations are fully anchored to the 2026–2030 Strategic Plan. PFCCO Visayas will return before their scheduled board and management meetings to continue providing technical assistance and guidance.
More than a document, NECCI’s Strategic Plan is a shared promise a commitment to growth, accountability, and service. It reflects a cooperative that does not merely plan to survive, but chooses to plan with purpose, measure with discipline, and move forward with hope.
As NECCI steps into the next five years, it does so with clarity, direction, and confidence guided by strategy, empowered by people, and united by the cooperative spirit.
